Helping to Unblock 1,000 Creatives

Creative Collective is my vision to build a tribe who support each other to rediscover and share their creative gifts with the world.  Our greatest gifts are often hidden in our most sensitive wounds and I offer space for creative expression.

When we deny our sensitivities and gifts to the world, it makes us sick.  I  believe that many modern day mental health problems arise because we suppress the creative impulses of our soul.

My mission is to lead and facilitate a community of creatives to express and learn about themselves to reduce stress, disconnection and isolation through connecting with the magic of the creative process.

IF YOU'RE FEELING CREATIVELY RELUCTANT, UNINSPIRED OR BLOCKED; THIS IS FOR YOU

The idea has been born whilst unblocking my own creative process through a combination of therapy, spiritual practices and artistic expression.  I realise my purpose is to help build creatives through a supportive community to reach our highest potential.

You can read more about me and my journey here.

The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work and gave to it neither power nor time.

Incubate Your Creative

If you won’t protect your inner creative, who will?

Inside you there’s an artist you don’t know about. Say yes quickly, if you’ve known it before the beginning of the universe.

Creative Principles

Do what you love; not what you think others will like.
There is no right or wrong way.  Everything is learning.
Ask for guidance and surrender to the process.
Nurturing imagination opens doors to the infinite.
Expression is more important than technique.
Quantity yields greater results over quality.
Love the process more than the outcome.
Magic and wonder exists in the unknown.

Our inner creative is a child, sensitive to the outside world.  Incubation creates a cocoon to nurture, protect and develop the emerging artist into existence.

Most of us did not receive a supportive environment for our creativity.  We must return to what our inner child needed the most to be reborn into our true nature.

The focus is on understanding our needs, creative wounds, developing curiosity, re-wiring beliefs and healing through creative expression.  We discover the connection to our mysterious creative spirit and how to love the process more than the outcome.

We surround ourselves with only unconditional positive support and curiosity for our work, which creates safety to experiment, play, learn and grow.  This phase requires us to protect our work from judgement and criticism too soon from outside sources.  Our inner critic is most active at this stage and we must be vigilant to protect the emerging creative from being shut down.
