Helping to Unblock 1,000 Creatives
Creative Collective is my vision to build a tribe to help build creatives through a supportive community to rediscover and share our creative gifts with the world.
Our greatest gifts are often hidden in our darkest shadows. When we deny our gifts to the world, it makes us sick. I believe that many modern day mental health problems arise because we suppress the creative impulses of our soul.
My mission is to lead and facilitate a community of creatives to express and learn about themselves to reduce stress, disconnection and isolation through connecting with the magic of the creative process.
IF YOU'RE FEELING CREATIVELY RELUCTANT, UNINSPIRED OR BLOCKED; THIS IS FOR YOU
The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work and gave to it neither power nor time.
Cocoon Your Creative
Inside you there’s an artist you don’t know about. Say yes quickly, if you’ve known it before the beginning of the universe.
How Does it Work?
- Workshops are online and between 1.5 - 2 hours in length.
- Groups are no more than 12 participants to give time and space for everyone.
- Find a quiet space to allow yourself to go deeper in the activities.
- Bring paper and a pen / pencil. If you have more art supplies, bring those!
- Join the Google Meet link after Signing Up and enjoy the journey 🙂
The format for each workshop is:
Where is your head at today? Take a few moments to introduce yourself and connect with other creatives to help settle into your body and the space.
Guided Meditation / Visualision
You will either be taken through a meditation to get you more in touch with your body and sensations, or a visualisation to discover symbols to bring into the creative task.
Time to create! Each session offers a new activity, combining art and writing to get in touch with differents parts of yourself. This will be a space where we are all immersed in our separate processes.
Sharing and Reflection
Everyone has an opportunity to share what they discovered during the experience and to receive and offer positive feedback. There is no pressure to share – but I encourage it to build creative confidence.
How Much Does it Cost?
Creative Collective workshops rely on donations from the community.
I understand not everyone may not be in a position to afford regular sessions. My priority is to offer a creative and supportive space to build a tribe, whatever your financial situation. There are many ways to contribute and money is just one way you can help.
